Kit’s Garden

Welcome to my garden deep in the heart of South Gloucestershire, UK. My husband and I have been gardening here for over 40 years and whilst it isn’t a large plot, it is our little piece of heaven and one that has kept us happy, healthy, sane and given us and neighbours and visitors a lot of pleasure of the years, and hopefully for many years to come. Over the years we have become experts in our own ways, with him tending the veg plot and annual borders, tubs and containers, and me with the front garden and rear garden. We share the chores and the weeding and deadheading, and watering and feeding but I have to leave the hedge cutting and lawn mowing to him.

Do feel free to take a look around. Over the coming months I will include more and more of our lovely plants, discussing how we garden and what we grow, tips and growing hints and also a guide to plant names and identification. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Meanwhile, here’s a few snapshots of the garden over various years.
